ThinLinX Software

Our Software runs on Thin Client devices and personal computers. When configured, our software enables these devices to be centrally managed in a secure environment. Our software makes use of  the benefits of open, industry standard technologies used in the personal computer industry, by creating improved alternatives to the PCs and PC networks.

ThinLinX supplies Hot-pc, a range of Open Source software with the Hot-e®, including a full Debian ARM development environment. Our customised ARM Thin Client software is based on the very popular Open Source projects LTSP-4.2.and DIET-PC

Read about "How to install Debian Arm with the Hot-e".

Read about "How to install the Diet-PC Arm port with the Hot-e".

We also supply the standard X86 Architecture, LTSP-4.2 and DIET-PC, either which will transform a existing PC into a Thin Client. This software can be loaded on any standard PC making that PC a Thin Client device. This is particularly useful for computers that are deemed technically obsolete. Instead of replacing the hardware, companies can load the software on the old PC thus extending the life exponentially.

Business customers can now deploy a Thin Client solution by utilizing existing PC's and then phasing in our Thin Client device, the Hot-e®, as, and when budgets allow, making it a viable and cost effective option.
